Anyone can clean carpets, just rent a shampoo extractor, add in some chemicals and clean away. Heavy wet extraction cleaning leaves soapy residue, saturating the carpets leaving the waterbased glue that holds the carpet fibers wet. This may lead to mildew and delamination problems, not to mention slowly removing colors due to heavy solvents and/or high heat or steam. With true carpet maintenance we utilize MilliCare's waterbased non-toxic dry cleaning process to maintain carpets safely, cleaning cycles may be monthly, quarterly, or semi-annually depending on traffic and use. Yes we do "hot water extraction cleaning"! But mostly when carpets are in need of a restorative extraction due to excessive soiling, we also follow up with our dry process to remove any remaining soapy residue left by the wet cleaning. In all extending the need for heavy wet extraction with the dry cleaning process will extend the life of your carpet investment.
